National KYFR Week
The 2011 National Know Your Flood Risk Week has started and will run until the 11th Nov. To find out more about the campaign and events, follow http://www.knowyourfloodrisk.co.uk/Flood_Week.html
There is still much to be done to raise awareness of flood risk. 1 in 4 British homes are at risk of flooding and 83% of householders do not consider themselves at risk. 43% of homeowners have not investigated the risk of flooding to their home.
Evans Rivers and Coastal Ltd is committed to help raise awareness of flooding. We offer a Flood Response Plan service which provides guidance on what to do during a flood event, so people have peace of mind.
We also provide reports for insurance purposes, as insurance companies are asking homeowners to provide flood risk reports so that they can apply a more representative insurance premium to the property.
If you are a homeowner and would like to discuss any of the above, please call 08453 942744 or visit our website www.evansriversandcoastal.co.uk
